While this course will focus primarily on the fundamentals of wheel throwing (wedging, centering, pulling, shaping, trimming, and glazing), all skill levels are welcome to join. Handbuilders are also encouraged to sign up — we have a slab roller, an extruder, all the tools you might need, and plenty of space! Experienced potters may request support & assistance with specific projects or opt to work independently.
Class begins January 7th & we will meet every Wednesday evening through February 25th. In addition to class time, 12 hours of open studio time will be offered weekly so that students may practice honing their skills independently. A 25 pound bag of clay is included in the cost, and additional clay can be purchased as needed.
