Join us at CENTER CENTRE on Friday, February 27th from 6-8pm! In this two hour workshop, friend of the studio, Katie Cameron, will guide you through the process of turning a hunk of clay into… whatever you can dream up, really. In this freestyle workshop, everything goes! This is a beginner friendly workshop best suited to ages 16+. All materials provided.
After the workshop, sculptures will be dipped in food safe clear glaze and fired in our kilns. Students will be notified by e-mail when they are ready for pickup.
Katie Cameron is a local potter who creates under the moniker cry baby clay. Her classes are fun, welcoming, silly & informative! Katie prioritizes authenticity & play in her everyday life, which certainly comes through in her ceramic work as well. She’s also a standup comedian — so you’re basically getting a two for one deal on a clay class & comedy show!
