Join us at CENTER CENTRE on Friday, December 12th from 6-8pm! In this two hour workshop, friend of the studio, Katie Cameron, will teach you how to pinch, sculpt, and decorate a mug with colorful underglazes in a fun and welcoming environment. This is a beginner friendly workshop best suited to ages 16+. All materials provided.
After the workshop, mugs will be dipped in food safe clear glaze and fired in our kilns. Students will be notified by e-mail when they are ready for pickup (~2-3 weeks).
Katie Cameron is a local potter who creates under the moniker cry baby clay. Her classes are fun, welcoming, silly & informative! Katie prioritizes authenticity & play in her everyday life, which certainly comes through in her ceramic work as well. She’s also a standup comedian — so you’re basically getting a two for one deal on a clay class & comedy show!
